Dr. Nshemereirwe is a Civil Engineer turned Educator turned Science and Policy Facilitator on a mission to see the vast potential of the African continent realised through more responsive education systems, more contextually relevant science, and better resourced policy makers. Through her work at the interface of science and policy she designs and facilitates programs to enable scientists to use better respond to the challenges that the continent faces, and also to equip policy makers with the skills needed to interpret this science and make even more informed policy decisions. As an educational researcher, Dr. Nshemereirwe is also a Science Communicator, writing about the relevance and adequacy of education in Africa
